Senior Community Service Employment Program

SCSEP provides training and employment opportunities to individuals 55 years of age and older who meet financial eligibility guidelines.

Seniors are placed in local nonprofit or public organizations for on-the-job training.  Working closely with the senior employee and the employer, SCSEP eases the transition into permanent employment.  While training, seniors work 20 - 25 hours a week and are paid at minimum wage or better.  In certain situations, seniors are placed directly with employers in the for-profit sector.

This program services individuals from Belknap, Hillsborough, Merrimack, Rockingham and Strafford Counties.
