The Housing Program assists local communities within Belknap and Merrimack Counties in the development of affordable housing for the elderly.  These are independent living facilities and are rent subsidized.  Tenants are required to pay 30% of their adjusted income for rent.

There are currently 40 units (Riverside) in Franklin, 26 units (ProspectView) in Alton, 35 units (North Ridge) in Warner, 40 units (Heritage Terrace) in Belmont, and 50 units (Meadow Brook) in Epsom.
