Homeless Prevention
Funds are sometimes available through Stewart B. McKinney Federal funds to provide one-time emergency assistance to individuals/families to prevent homelessness caused by eviction, utility disconnect, no heat, etc.

Homeless Outreach Intervention Program
Provides "on the street" outreach workers to engage the hard-to-serve street homeless and assist them in gaining access to appropriate shelter and other services for which they are eligible.

New Start Program
Provides prevention/intervention, housing and support services for persons who are homeless or at risk.  Service plans provide for a two-year continuum of care for individuals in the Concord area.
