Fuel Assistance ProgramThe Fuel Assistance Program (FAP) assists income-eligible households with paying their energy bills during the heating season. Tenants, as well as homeowners, are eligible for a grant through the Fuel Assistance Program. Eligibility and benefits amounts are determined by the number of household members, their combined gross income, and annual energy usage. On average, 4,000 households seek assistance each year in Belknap and Merrimack Counties.
