This program assists seniors aged 60 and over or disabled homeowners with
minor home repairs and maintenance. The service enables senior or disabled
citizens to maintain an independent lifestyle by remaining in their homes.
Labor is provided, free of a set charge (the client is expected to
contribute according to their ability), by volunteers who help with plumbing,
carpentry, electrical or other minor repairs. There is a set charge for
materials only if they are needed (the actual cost of the materials) for the
successful completion of the project.
