A comprehensive array of services is provided for the older adults in many of our communities in Belknap and Merrimack Counties.
We strive to promote independence and well-being through a healthy, active lifestyle, increased social interaction, social services, a variety of volunteer opportunities, community integration projects, a sound nutrition program, educational seminars, and rural transportation services.
Our 8 Senior Centers serve as hubs of activity welcoming participants from over 40 communities. They partner with numerous service providers including:
- ServiceLink of Belknap and Merrimack Counties
- The Fixit Program of Belknap, Merrimack, Hillsborough, Strafford and Rockingham Counties, and the North Country
- Visiting Nurse Associations
- Long Term Care and HICEAS counselors
- Prescription Assistance Programs
- NH Celebrates Wellness
- UNH Cooperative Extension
- Sight Services for Independent Living
- College of Lifelong Learning and other educational institutions
