 Central New Hampshire Transportation

Central New Hampshire Transportation is a coordinated, door to door service utilizing the shared resources of transportation providers in the Concord area. This demand response service uses the scheduling and dispatching resources of Concord Area Transit to expand the availability of door to door services to the greater Concord area. Service is provided Monday through Friday between 6:30AM and 5:30 PM on a space available basis. Trips may be requested up to 5 days in advance, but at least 24 hours advance notice is required. All requests are scheduled on a first come first served basis. This is a shared ride service, and every effort will be made to minimize onboard time for our customers. The cost of service will vary with length of trip. Qualifying individuals may have all or a portion of the travel expense subsidized by funding sources. CNHT schedulers will review all applicants for service to determine eligibility. Full program details are available by e-mail or by calling CNHT at 225-3003

The senior transit system provides transportation for seniors (aged 60 and over), serving 10 towns throughout Merrimack County. On a space available basis those persons under age 60 are welcome.  Please call 24 hours in advance to schedule.

The special transit service is a public transportation system serving persons with disabilities who are able to use the fixed route service.  This service is door to door with reservations required.

CAT is presently spearheading the effort to coordinate dispatching and scheduling between 10 agencies, incorporating 23 vehicles in an expanded network of service providers to better serve the Concord community.
